DOCTORAL STUDENTSIntroduction [Biosketch]
- Md. Ahmaruzzaman is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Chemistry. He received his postgraduate degree in M.Sc. (Chemistry) from North Bengal University after his graduation from the same University. He also received his postgraduate degree in M.Tech. (Energy Science & Technology) from Jadavpur University. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He has supervised several projects at the post graduate level. He has produced more than PhDs and several PhD scholars are working under him. He has published more than 345 research papers in international journals as well as in various national and international conferences. He has more than 17000 Citations in International Journals. He is a reviewer of various peer-reviewed reputed International and National journals. He is the Co-Editor of the Environmental Research and Technology Journal. He is also the Associate Editor of the International Journal of Environmental Analytical Chemistry (Taylor and Francis) and Frontiers in Environmental Chemistry. He also serves as an Editorial Board Member, Scientific Reports (Nature); Discover Materials (Springer-Nature).
- Professor Dr. Md. Ahmaruzzaman has been ranked in the world’s top 2 % of scientists released by Elsevier and US-based Stanford University. He has been ranked for four consecutive years, 2020, 2021,2023, and 2024, in the top 2 % of scientists worldwide . He has been declared the best scientist in the National Institute of Technology Silchar by the AD SCIENTIFIC INDEX for the years 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
